Lance & Lauren | A Springs – The Lodge Wedding in Aubrey, TX

The moment he got down on one knee ready to commit the rest of his life to Ryland, there wasn’t a dry eye in the crowd. He had been ready for quite some time, but today was the perfect day to show her that he had chosen her just as much as he had chosen her mother to love and to support all the rest of his days. The chose family and always would from this day on out.

Normally, my wedding days consist of two amazing humans becoming one. But today, not only were Lance and Lauren committing to one another, Ryland was also gaining an amazing step-father. The way Lance loves this girl is so inspiring. I can only pray that if God were to take me home sooner than expected, that Nick would find a woman like Lance who would embrace and love my children the way I do.

Lauren was absolutely stunning in her wedding dress from the Bliss Bridal, which perfectly transitioned from the gorgeous outdoor ceremony to the ballroom at The Lodge at The Springs in Aubrey, TX. The way Lance’s eyes lit up the moment he saw her coming down the isle was EVERYTHING. This is one of my favorite parts of a wedding day. Witnessing the groom see his bride for the first time. Whether it’s in an intimate first look or at the ceremony with her coming down the isle, this moment is beautiful and one of a kind.

A family was created today. A family full of laughter. Full of fun. Full of understanding. Full of love.

As everyone danced the night away, and I secretly wished we would get two-stepping dance lessons to keep up with y’all, I couldn’t help but have a smile locked onto my face. I pray that all of our wedding days are as fun as this one. 🙂

Thank you for allowing Nick and I to be your photographers on your wedding day. The family you have created is beautiful and something to always fight for. I love how Ryland felt just as much a part of your wedding day as you did. She is one lucky girl to have you Lauren as a momma. You are so strong and you are showing her the kind of love to look for. And Lance, you are the best dad already. I love witnessing you choose to be her father first.
