It was an early morning in Dallas when I met Chaz and Ashley for their long-awaited engagement session.  Their adventurous spirit led us to Prather Park, a hidden gem in the Highland Park area of Dallas, TX which I have never seen.  When you pull up to the magical oasis, you look down and all you see is beautiful greenery, bridges and a cute little creek running throughout.  I instantly fell in love.

 

Chaz and Ashley beamed as they arrived.  It has been a long couple of months waiting out the COVID-19 “shelter in place” routine and they were eager to have their photographs taken, FINALLY.  We had originally planned on a cool spring day to have their session and thankfully with their flexibility of doing a morning session, it was nice and cool. I haven’t done many morning sessions and the way the sun rose over this park, there was a moment of the most picturesque glow throughout the park. The way the light hit Ashley and Chaz’s faces with love in their eyes, the end results were perfect.  This was by far one of my most favorite sessions and I’m so thankful for these amazing couples that allow me into their world and into their love for one another. I cannot wait for February 2021, where these two special people get to say, “I do” at the Castle at Rockwall.

You two are amazing people and I love that you found one another.  Your love is inspiring and I cannot wait to witness you seal the deal in February.
