Emily McGartland… My sister from another Mr… I’m so blessed to have FINALLY gotten all your family members in front of my camera. LOL! I believe the last time she said they had a full family photo session was when she was in high school. Meaning… this is going to be the BEST Christmas present for your mother.
I met Emily when I managed the Hewlett Packard Fitness Center. I was wearing a Mizzou hoodie because it was cold and she instantly said, “M-I-Z!” (“Z-O-U”!) Being in Texas now, this occurence does not happen that frequently, so we immediately jumped into a conversation about how we were both from Missouri. She made her way to Texas when she was 16. (Wow, Em, your last family photoshoot must have been there. LOL!) And her sister, Chelsea, had recently graduated from their amazing Journalism school.
I knew in this moment that I would LOVE this girl! (Maybe its because I weirdly collect Missouri people in Texas… ;p)
We have been great friends ever since. Growing through adulthood together, running half marathons, cheering each other on with each new life change and most importantly through the bad times as well. Friends like Emily come very far and few in between. There aren’t many people that I can say with out a shadow of a doubt that they’d be there for me in a heart beat. They’d pick up all the pieces and help me put them back together again.
So when Emily wanted to get her family together for a photoshoot, you better believe it was going to be me who picked up the camera. LOL! Surprisingly over the years, I have only met her family a few times, so getting them all together for this session had me super excited. Her mom and dad are the sweetest couple ever and when you scroll through, you’ll be able to see just how much her dad adores her mom. They are literally the cutest thing on the planet.
Emily & Family,
Thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to get the five of you together for a fun photoshoot. Your family is so special and I’m blessed to know each and every one of you. I hope you guys don’t wait another 16 years for your next session. 🙂
I hope you guys love these as much as I do!
Thanks,
Kelli Holder
