And baby makes 5!!!!

 

What a special time in life where your babies become siblings (again!).  I can only imagine (and will only imagine) what Declan would be like as an older brother.  For Katie & Jake, they get to witness this happen first hand with their little Derek.   Addie is already such a little mommy to her brother, that adding a new sibling has been seamless for her. 🙂

 

I find it so amazing watching the dynamics of a family shift as a new little one has been added.  Katie and Jake have the whole parenting thing down after going through this stage a few times.  The feeling as I entered their home is pure calmness, which is NOT always the case for in-home lifestyle newborn sessions.  LOL!  Everyone was so excited to share their sweet Sadie with me.  Derek and Addie especially beamed as Katie came out holding her.   Melting my momma heart immediately!!!

 

Sadie was the calmest newborn ever as she happily slept most of the session away.  When I looked at her, she reminded me a lot of my own little kiddos.  With the same amount of hair so adorably all over the place and her sweet puckered little lips.  (If your uterus isn’t pounding yet, I know it will be by the time you scroll to the end of these photographs.  :p)

I am so grateful to have been able to photograph your sweet family!!!  Sadie is the sweetest thing ever and I love how much Derek and Addie doted on her throughout the session.  You guys are so blessed with three adorable kiddos.  I cannot wait to watch Sadie grow up and into her personality over the next few years.  🙂
