I don’t think 2018 could have started better.  One of my favorite couples brought a new baby boy into the world!  And boy oh boy, is baby Lincoln is the sweetest little pumpkin ever!  He was fast asleep throughout the whole session barely making a peep for mommy.  We were able to move him around, wrap him in a blanket without much fuss at all.

 

 

Each session, I love to watch the dynamic of the family in front of me.  And after a few sessions with first time parents, the difference was noticeable.  The second time around is sooo much easier.  🙂 🙂

 

 

True you have a few new bumps in the road to navigate, like making sure your first born still feels loved and a part of the baby’s life.  You are also navigating these waters on MUCH LESS sleep than the first time around, because when the baby sleeps, you are now on big kid duty.  🙂  Loving on them so hard to make up for the time missed.

 

 

Kelsey and Rafael have done such a great job moving into this new stage of life.  It was wonderful being a fly on the wall with them for an afternoon.  Watching them involve Nora into Lincoln’s world.  Making her feel soo very special.  You could tell just looking at her that she is going to be the best big sister.  Wanting to love and kiss on her brother.

 

 

Sessions like these are so very special!  I thank God every day for this passion of mine.  And I am so blessed beyond belief to have made wonderful friends who allow me into their homes to photograph their intimate moments.

 

 

Kelsey, I am so proud to be your friend.  You are the best momma ever!  I pray that little Lincoln becomes a “momma’s boy” and gives you all his love and snuggles.

Rafael, you are truly an inspiration.  Thank you for being a man of God who provides for his family and loves them all unconditionally.  The world needs more men like you!
